Life Or Something Like ItI had the opportunity to watch the movie last night. I have to say that Angelina Jolie's blonde hair was a big mistake. PERO! The film got me thinking, up until today.
Lanie (Jolie) learned from a prophet (mala-Quiapo prophet) that she is going to die the following week, so in a few days her perfect life turns upside down.
She goes home to her old and weak father,
spends time with him and rediscovers the old life that she has left behind.
She breaks up with her famous long-time boyfriend for the fear that he might not be the one, and that she
might be wasting the last moments of her life with the wrong person. Then she goes back to her ex, who, in the end, realizes that Lanie is THE ONE.
She parades on the street drunk, with a mic in hand and a cameraman, as she sings
'I Can't Get No Satisfaction'.She turns down the job that she's been wanting all her life.
If a prophet told me that I'm going to die next week, what would I do?Ala lang, just thinking aloud.
